Welcome to our new website!<\/p>\n

We’re very excited to launch this website. \u00a0Our hope is that this site will be the one-stop-shop for everything UNION – blog posts, pictures, videos, player bios, results and contact info. \u00a0Eventually we hope to have sponsorship and merchandise information\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n

First off: \u00a0We are CANADIAN ULTIMATE CHAMPIONS!<\/a><\/p>\n

We are extremely proud of this. \u00a0But we are not done there, we earned a berth to the 2014 World Club Championships in Lecco, Italy<\/a>, and we expect to expand our hardware cabinet.<\/p>\n

UNION<\/strong>\u00a0is an elite Ultimate team whose bonds off the field bolster our strength on it. Our efforts will be driven and focused by our core values of Respect, Attitude, and Work.<\/p>\n

RESPECT<\/strong>\u00a0is for our teammates, that they will do what they need to do to make us stronger, and vice versa. It\u2019s for the captains, who have a tough job and need your support as much as you need theirs. It\u2019s open communication amongst the whole team and having the strength to share & to listen. It\u2019s for our opponents, so that we compete fairly and underestimate no one. It\u2019s for yourself, so that you bring your best, every time.<\/p>\n

ATTITUDE<\/strong>\u00a0is in your approach to the game – playing with intent and fierce determination. It\u2019s about fostering healthy relationships with your captains and teammates. It\u2019s about having the humility and awareness to self-evaluate. It\u2019s striving to be a better player, so that you look at everything as a learning experience — feedback, your opponents, your teammates — so that every time you step on the field you\u2019re better than before.<\/p>\n

WORK<\/strong>\u00a0is about having the industriousness and fortitude to persevere through the above. It\u2019s a reminder of how there is simply no substitution for sweat and effort. Work is the commitment we make to each other, because with it and it alone we can win games, inspire teammates, and strengthen one another.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
