Norm grew up in Scarborough. He was first given a disc by his older brother in high school. He didn’t start playing competitively till several years later. He spent most of his time within the UE mixed system.
When he’s not playing Ultimate, he spends a lot of time at the gym or playing volleyball, hockey or board games.
To pay for Ultimate, Norm is an accountant between 9-5 and a personal trainer from 5-9.
Playing Ultimate is a curse and a blessing. It is one of the best sports in this world and I truly love playing it. The curse is the amount of time we spent playing, training, thinking about it. Playing on Union has allowed me to reach my last 2 goals in Ultimate; getting a medal at nationals and going to Club Worlds.
